Full-Time Preacher Opening
Whitehall Church of Christ, in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an enthusiastic preacher, with a passion for Christ and his people to be our full-time minister.
Our church is looking for a man that will be able to help our body grow spiritually, inspire our members, and challenge them in their walk with Christ. Strong biblical knowledge and sound doctrine is a must, although a theology degree is not required, but preferred. Previous preaching experience is also desired. The ideal man would come intending to stay a long time, God willing, and grow with his family to be a beloved part of the Whitehall church family as quickly as possible, not simply an employee.
Regular duties are to provide weekly sermons for Sunday morning and evening services, teach weekly classes, hold other group and individual Bible studies, be an evangelist to the community, and maintain regular office hours during the week.
Salary is negotiable, commensurate with skills, education, and experience.
Whitehall Church of Christ is a church of ~120 members (pre-COVID) in the south hills of Pittsburgh, PA. We are a body that is eager for bible based teaching and sound doctrine, and enjoys the fellowship and community of the church. We currently do not have an eldership, but hope to develop the men within our congregation to fill that role.
